Pampered in Paris
The perfect city oasis, complete with a relaxing courtyard garden, Mandarin Oriental, Paris – the Hotel Group’s sparkling-new hotel on the fashionable and prestigious rue Saint-Honoré – has the perfect answer for those in need of rejuvenation. Its Relax and Revive package offers guests a night in a Superior or Deluxe Room, or a Superior Suite, delicious healthy dining options, and three pampering treatments in the luxurious Spa, where there’s also use of a steam room and a 14-metre-long swimming pool.
On the spa menu is a tailor-made Signature Spa Therapy (2 hours 20 minutes), which, based on traditional Chinese methods, involves a body massage with custom-blended essential oils, designed to enhance wellbeing. The Oriental Foot Treatment (50 minutes) begins with a fragrant foot bath, followed by exfoliation and massage, and the Enrich Body Treatment (1 hour 50 minutes) promises to nourish skin like never before, starting with exfoliation and a mud mask, before a full body massage and the application of an ultra-moisturising body butter.
The nourishing continues with plenty of nutritious food. The Delight Breakfast, either taken in-room or in the hotel’s Camélia restaurant, has been specially created by executive chef Thierry Marx and naturopath Liliane Israel. Think pomegranate juice, almond milk, smoothies, fruit, honey and homemade spelt bread – all high in vitamins and antioxidants and served in an elegant Bento box. Marx is also behind the three-course wellness lunch at Camélia, and the delicious non-alcoholic cocktail from the hotel’s sophisticated Bar 8, which can be enjoyed alfresco in the delightful inner courtyard. The package also includes late check-out, so you can catch up on your beauty sleep.
The Relax and Revive package is available until 31 December, from 1,590 euros for one, or from 2,480 euros for two. Make a direct online reservation at www.mandarinoriental.com/paris, or call +33 1 7098 7333
